Wow, I never knew there were so many people who ride Limeys in the world. lol I am used to being about the only one around riding one. People just don't know what they are missing, do they?

I am happy to say I live in a great place to ride. The mountains of NE Georgia are some of the best areas that I have ever ridden in, and I have been riding since I was around 10 yo. There is nothing like taking Ga 53 through Dawsonville and on up to the Jasper area. Or stopping off at TWO for a burger and a bout of talking tall sh*t with the other riders before heading up to the Dragon. I must say, I am blessed.

I am looking forward to getting to know you all, as it would be wonderful to stop being the odd person out as it were. lol

Thanks!! I haven't had the time to explore it all quite yet, but so far I am impressed with the information. I am trying to find a little information on drilling out my stock pipes. Will I have to rejet the carbs? Anything else I should look out for? Or should I just shut up and keep looking? rofl

Welcome. Good bunch of guys and gals here. To my knowledge, I am the only Hinckley Triumph rider in my county, and with the dealers 50 or 100 miles away, and not really focused on Triumph (they are major Honda, Yamaha, Kaw and Suz dealers) it would be a lonely life without this group. So I know where you are coming from.

About drilling out the pipes and a lot of questions: You will find that more often than not your questions have been discussed in great detail in threads that are already here. So I urge you to use the search function which will take you to those threads, and then, if there are further questions, ask them in the thread, which will pop to the top and become "live" once more. Of course, you can always ask any question any time, but "search" can be a really big help.

God bless,

Monte

Well, thanks for the welcome Monte. I have seen only two other Triumphs up here. Almost everyone rides HD or some sort of sport bike. I am lucky in that I have a Triumph dealer about 12 miles away, and another about 25 miles away. So, that is good, however, they all must think they are gold, cause they sure make you pay for their time. lol So, I am trying to do as much of the work on my scoot myself as I can.

N. GA is 'da bomb.

I take my MR2 Spyder up there twice a year on my way to The Dragon and love those back roads.

Too chicken to take the Adventurer, though....

Don't be skeered. It's only a few little turns. lol And heck, I never even knocked the rubber off a peg last year on my Legend. Although, I did see my fair share of bike parts scattered about. lol
