I took my bike to a local service shop to have a chain, new sprockets and tires put on last saturday, only to find out that they have not even started on it as of today! When I called them today to let them know I would be in to pick up the bike and did not want the work done. They told me I would have to pay for the parts that they have already ordered! (I dont think so) If I left it there, it would not be ready until sometime next week!
They also want to charge me quite a bit more than there original "ball park" estimate!
If you are in NW Houston area, I would not suggest taking your bike to MPH cycles. I just hope they do not give me too much grief when I pick it up this evening.

Hey Jasmail, I haven't done business with MPH but now I know to be cautious if I ever do. Have you been to Polaris West in Katy? They have Triumph trained techs and they're a pretty good bunch of guys. TJ, the parts manager, has always taken good care of me.
You might try giving them a call: 281-391-8800.

Well...They were cool about it. They gave me the parts (and actually at great prices). I will take the chain, tires, sprockets to another dealer to be installed.
