Yeah, sometimes I do manage to avoid being completly wrong...
And ,yes I can ride down a stretch of road without hitting all the trees or fences..

And Big Al, the 'customizing' has already started. The folks at Capitol Area Triumph - John, Will & Brandon - are great guys and have been extremely helpful . They had a set of used TOR's which I picked up yesterday morning. Now the fun really begins!!

Those guys are great and really know their stuff. I go to them for all of the service stuff that I don't feel like playing with. If I knew you were going, I would have ridden up to see the new ride!

Maybe I'll catch you at one of the Ephrata Breakfasts Lots of folks from your area ride out there.

Horse before the cart!

Al,

I didn't even have the bike yet! We did the paperwork Friday evening, and then I had to arrange for a ride Sat afternoon to pick it up. And yes - I plan to make one of the Ephrata breakfasts - hopefully soon. Right now in the process of swapping out the stock pipes for the TOR's. PLUS I have to figure out what to do with the front caliper that is hanging up.

Did some mods...bolted in together.....the temp in upstate NY this weekend was in 30's/40's...warm enough. Rambled down to the local watering hole to raise a glass for St Patty....had a quick one and went outside...10-15 people oogling over the bike...a bit of "are you crazy" and "I didn't know that Triumph was still around" filled the air. No Harley/Victory/Jap/BMW get the feedback that a Triumph does. Had a ton of bikes, never had one that dug into me like this bike does. Enjoy, Bro, it only gets better!

And to think Hinckley no longer produces these Classic's. Boo Hoo. Luck you to pick up a TB while they're still around. Vulcan? what were you thinking? Anyways glad you're joining in the madness with these wonderful 900cc group of Hinckley's.

Just had to post here, with this thread's title.

100 mile run today round hilly West Cork's twisties , in fine dry weather, to the glorious soundtrack of the classic triple (thanks Thunderbike). Touched down on the left side (sidestand/mount?), drifted the rear out on 4th gear torque. Bike took every bend with pothole, rock in the road, pile of cow dung, tractor, patch of oil, directionally challenged 'cager' slalom (indicate right to go left ), no fuss, no drama. Bliss . +1 what a bike !

How can they not make these any more

Patrol21

Noted your post on Proven Setups sticky also, see you've been having a whale of a time too, cool !
