Mirrors for a T-Bird

Guys,

Wife thinks stock mirrors sucks, and wants to change to the V-Rod's mirrors. Apart from whether it can fit (I just do not know), some say it is sacrilegious to put a Harley part on a Bird .... I quite like the shape tho ...

views?

Cheers

I like the look... you'll have to check the thread size (can't help you there). without opening a can of worms here... have you considered bar-end mirrors? Lots of options there...

Not so sure about that, I think it's more like one of those rules they have in food preparation, like not prepping pork on the same surface as chicken or something like that.(and that's only useful if your making a home recipe for botox).
Check out EMGO you can find just about any mirror you can think of from those guys.

They are indeed a 10mm thread.

Avoid anything intended for use on a Yamaha- they have a left hand thread on the right side mirror.

JP Cycle lists an adapter that looks like it will work to get the VROD mirrors to mount on your T-bird.

Thumbs up

Just installed some napoleon mirrors on my triple. They look good, work well and easily fold in 180 degrees, spring loaded, no tools for parking in tight spots.

Some people are real dumb, I just got my bike a few weeks back and decided to tinker with it today because the weather was a little nicer out, anyways the guy I bought the bike from gave me the stock bars (it came with clubman bars) so I wanted to see what it felt like with the stockers, first problem I came across was the guy snipped off the little stem on the perch that hold the throttle asembly to the bars instead of drilling a little hole into the clubman bars, wait it gets better, the clubman bars had napoleon mirrors on them so he plugged the origanal holes for the stock mirrors with a small bolt and held it there with some type of epoxy. One more thing, my stock bars cant take the napoleon mirrors because he must of had bar end mirrors before in the stock bars and there filled with some type of plug that I cant get out.

Question is is the something out there that desovles epoxy? Im going to try grip tape to hold my throttle in place instead of buying a new one, any suggestions.
