Carb Problem Solved!!!

So I was having trouble trying to remove the needle valves from 2 of the carb banks. They were all gummed up with this heavy green corrosion. Strange thing is, the left carb (the one that has the idle adjuster on it) was Completely clean! The other carb banks werent really dirty either... It was just this thick green stuff on 2 of the valves.
I figured I would post pics and explain how I removed them in case anyone comes across this issue in the future.
First, soak for a while with carb cleaner.
Then I gently tapped the back of the valves to try and jolt them loose. It didnt seem to work but maybe it helped loosen them up a bit.
I then got a tiny flat head screwdriver and stuck it in the groove at the bottom of the valve where the clip locks in and I used another screwdriver as leverage and eventually got it out. I did have to get a bit aggressive but I didnt really see any other choice. This stuff was caked on there good.

PS- I know it doesnt matter anymore... but does anyone have ANY idea why 2 of the valves were so clogged up. while the other one was immaculate? I asked the original owner and he said he never had any carb work done.
