Interchangeable Parts?

Hello,
I have a few parts that I need to replace on my 2002 Thunderbird 900. I've been search e-bay but the pickings are pretty slim. I need turn signals, mirrors, a rear fender, clutch & Brake levers,a rear brake pedal, and exhaust.
Does anyone know if parts for other triumphs will fit my thunderbird? I'm probably going to buy aftermarket mirrors and turn signals but I cant seel to find very many companies that sell aftermarket controls/exhaust, and fenders.
Thanks!

Most parts from the TBS, all years of T-Bird, and Legend TT will fit. The brakes on the TBS are rear sets, so that brake pedal will not fit. Brake levers and mirrors are pretty standard stuff, so lots of parts will fit these.

Besides eBay, check with some bike breakers on the other bits.

perhaps fits, I'm not sure which one, but I believe that manifolds from other triple 900cc Triumph might be an alternative choice. With those it is easier to buy aftermarket mufflers.

No, you can't use stock manifolds from the other 900s on a T-bird without modifications. On the Classics, the water pump pipe wraps around and interferes with proper fitment.

I also have some spare mufflers if you need them. Not perfect, mind you, but useable. One set has had a complete mufflerectomy!

If your mirror stems are in good shape, you can thread on bonneville, bonn. america mirrors to the top of the stems. I cracked a mirror once and just replaced it with a used one- not the whole stem assembly.
This might widen your search options.

98 TBS Exhaust

I have a 98 TBS. It's my first bike and I love it. I am starting to look into cafe mods. I was wandering if anyone has a later model exhaust system they are looking to sell. My bike has the 3 into 2 on the right side. I would like to replace with the pipes on both sides. Is this possible.

Be kind, I'm new at this.

http://www.triumphrat.net/modificati...geability.html

, but it's not organized and is for all models not just classic triples
