So I finally got my framesliders for the TBS. They aren't going in today since I don't have the big honkin' T55 wrench to get the mount screws out yet anyway, but I was curious if this is an okay job to do with the bike freestanding. Obviously I'd only pull one at a time, but will that be okay to pull those bolts without the engine supported from below on a lift or anything?

Maybe its a silly question but I've never pulled a frame bolt out before. . .I'd rather be safe and sound silly, than do something dumb.

I just did them one at a time on my Thunderbird- no problems- check the proper torque for the bolts though- can't tell you offhand.
