Woa tip over - need a new turn signal

So as I was attempting to park in a parking stall I lost my balance and tipped my mint 2000 tbs over for the first time. After a near heart attack and some embarrassment I picked her up with some help from my riding buddy.

Fortunately the only thing that was damaged was the plastic cover on the stock turn signal and a little scratch on the handlebar end! The chrome wasn't even scratched. I thought if I ever tipped it over that there would be much more damage than that.

So my question is: Who knows where to buy a replacement part for the oval-orange plastic cover for the turn signal?

Thanks!

parts

Bikebandit.com. They have any part you want, delivered to your door. Or you could just get it through your dealer. I have the same year TBS with around 11,000 miles, and had a 98 TBS before that. Great bike, lots of fun.

Hey thanks for the tip. Thats great... they have OEM parts.

I really like this bike allot. Killer looks, great ride. Mine is an creamsicle.

I found that I just have to watch the balance when riding slow!

Bikebandit.com with definately have it, but their a little pricey.

I'd try e-bay first. Somebody was recently parting out a T-Bird and the turns signals should be the same for the TBS.

Try these people.

http://www.emgo.com/

I'm willing to bet they have a direct replacement.
If not you can probably buy two that are real close for less than the price of one original new one.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

As far as scratches...I take that back, I did end up with a few minor scratches.

A little scratch on the right side engine cover and a little scratch on the stock pipe.

Does anyone know how to touch up the black on the engine covers without powtercoating?

Yeah... I bought a few things off that TBird things from those guys; ebay is ALWAYS worth a look. Never thought I'd find that headlight bracket....

Ksound: you're lucky you just scratched the lens... usually those signals snap off!

nothing of importance to add here other than a pat on the back and an "it's alright, it happens to everyone." It happened to me a few months ago. I was sick even though I knew the cost wasn't that much. I just hated that I dropped it in the parking lot. Anyway, at least you weren't on it when it fell over.
