Preload fork caps

I have found an italian company that produces fork caps with adjustable preload.

Legend forks are 43mm, aren't they? Do you think caps use a standard measure?

Maybe they will ask me what's the diameter of the thread... do you know what is it?

Thank you!!!

my experience is the thread specs vary greatly even 2 bikes from the same manufacturer with the same fork size can have very different cap thread specs

I have the same concern. I have purchased older trophy fully adjustable forks that are made by the same manufacturer as my 99 Adventurer in hopes of using my tubes in the Trophy hardware. I do not remember the manufacturer of these but Triumph has used a couple of different ones even in the same year. I will try to look it up tonight in the dealer service manual later. There is a little ball game in chapel hill tonight though.

Same manufacturer wont really help. Stock classics forks were made to essentially the same design by both Showa and Kayaba, as were other T3 forks. My experience has been other T3 caps wont fit.
