Pilot jet question.

More for curiosity than anything else,
Is it possible to quantify the adjustment of the pilot jet screw to the mixture?

ie: 1/4 turn of the screw = x% increase in mixture

I am not sure it is as simple as that, as the screw head is tapered the progression is not linear.

As a rough estimate, maybe 3 turns out offers 0% restriction, and fully turned in offers 100% restriction, maybe 1.5 turns is about 50%

I could be totally wrong of course

Yes, it's possible to quantify the opening as an annulus with the needle as a cone. That's a strictly mechanical relationship but doesn't reflect the variations in flow rate through the rest of the carburetor plumbing.
