Mounting the Summer Screen - Help

Just bought a Triumph Summer screen for my bike. I think it has all the parts but came with no instructions. Might anyone have saved the instructions that came with their summer screen and be able to post them here or scan them?

thanks in advance

I got mine used so no manual, sorry. If no one is able to dig one up I'd be happy to send you a few pic's of the mounting points. Just PM me where you want them sent to.

I guessed!

I did not get instructions with mine since it came used from e-bay. The large clamps go around the forks and the two little brackets attach through one of the lower pinch bolts on the fork tubes. Loosely attach all before aligning and then tighten. Good luck.

Thumbs up

Hi,

I have the 'Windscreen fitting instructions' still (from 1995 - I believe the accessory is still the same?). Hopefully you can see the scans attached (and yes, I need a new scanner!).

The instructions came with the Summer Screen, but interestingly the drawings actually show the taller Winter Screen (which I also happen to have), as both use exactly the same fitting kit.

I should also add that although basically the same, the Thunderbird and Thunderbird Sport screens do differ, in that the Indicator cut-outs are at a different height.

Hope this helps?

Geoff

Thanks to all you guys - you are the greatest. I think the scans of the installation directions should do it. Thanks a MILLION!!!!!
