Hi Greg,

Just got back from the Triumph dealer...told me they had the jets I needed but when I got there...opps....they didn't. Seems there is actually 3 round types (small, medium, large) and I am unsure of which ones I need. If the 120's are too big, I'll just drill some more holes in the airbox.......

Emgo or Epco?

Hello, I know this is an older thread, but I'm curious... Does anyone know the differences between the Emgo and Epco mufflers other than the length?
I'm looking into replacing my stock mufflers on the TBS.

Thanks,

Ksound

Emgo makes a very high quality product, they are all stainless and mostly hand fabricated. Epco's are factory made.

emgo / epco

>>...":Emgo makes a very high quality product, they are all stainless and mostly hand fabricated. Epco's are factory made"

other way around: emgo are the factory chrome knock-off, like ni the pic of the original post. Epco are the quality St Steel systems.

FWIW - I've run my old Guzzi on emgo 17" tapered for about 10 years, they sound great and they last about 6 years with modest riding before starting to rust. I tried them on the TBS but only for a week - they were just too loud (not for the neighbors - for me!!). I am trying the emgo shorty megas once the snow melts and the salt's gone, but will repack them with more fiberglass / steel wool as recommended to soften the sound, as I know they'll be too loud!

Anyone found a good way to get a 7 degree bend in the adapter, so the mufflers parrallel side like 99 stocks?

Hey back at ya data! Let's go riding soon eh? Once that ice melts I'm back on the road.

I want more volume from the mufflers, but If those emgo mufflers are as loud as people say, I'm not sure that I would like them. If you have to wear ear plugs when you ride, it may be too loud!

Has anyone here used the suppertrap mufflers?

That is a nice looking install! I have the same pipes on my Thrux. Not bad for $50 a pop!
