I'm thinking of trying to fabricate some brackets so I can put 2, 5 1/4 headlights on the front of the t-bird. I like the look of the speed triple lights and think the extra light could be helpful.

My question is what to do with all the wires that terminate in the 7" headlight? Where are the wires located on the speed triple?

Thanks,
wabbit

Why not 2 x 7inch headlights?

I think 2 7 inch headlights would look good on the rocket 3 but the thunderbird is a bit small for such big headlights.

the 5 3/4 are what the speed triple has. It will still give the bike bug eyes, but in proportion to the size of the frame.

Wabbit, a word of caution. Whilst I realise that twin headlamps are popular I thought I'd share my experience. I fitted twin halogen headlamps (5 1/4") to a Guzzi Le Mans I had. Two issues. 1. Two small lights were less effective than one larger one. 2. (& this is where the caution is). From a distance, at night, it is easy for cage drivers to mistake you for a car in the distance, rather than a bike that is closer than they think. It makes a difference as to how far apart the lamps are mounted.
Personally I'd choose not to use twin headlamps again.
Regards
Cuppa.
