Aftermarket mirrors

Anyone replace the stock mirrors on a Legend, Adventurer or similar bike? I would like all black mirrors on my Legend? Any links or suggestions?

I really like the ones at www.mecatwin.com they come in anodised aluminium or black.

I haven't bought them because i think they are too expensive thoung...
I'm going to buy two similar mirrors at an online Italian shop, even if they are not as well done as those proposed by Mecatwin.

I bought from these guys: http://www.emgo.com/

They have about 6628 different mirrors. (give or take 2 or three)
On page 11 of the "let's see your triples is a photo of my adventurer with the stock vs. black mirrors.

If you like bar-end mirrors, I would recommend these guys.

I've got Emgo mirrors on Mutato. With the bars raised in front and tilted back the stock mirrors only showed my saddle bags.

black mirrors

I bought a used set of BMW K1200S mirrors for $40 for my GS and put the GS mirrors on the TBS. I can see past my shoulders/elbows and and unlike bar-end mirrors, they dont stick out much more than the stock ones.
I believe they are a 10mm fine thread and probably many bikes will fit. I can't remember if one side had reverse thread. (sorry to keep recycling the same old picture)

I put a $12 set of short, black mirrors from JP Cycle on my Legend. Just about all the metric mirrors will fit.

You just have to be careful about the type of glass they use. Most cheap mirror have flat glass and you really cannot see anything. It is similar to a bathroom mirror, good mirrors are "convex or concave' can't remember which right now. I guess I am getting old timers disease sooner than I wanted.

You can also use Triumph's black mirrors from a Tiger or Speed Triple 955.
