I live in a small rural village at the foot of two fantastic mountains that just so happens to have a Pub right in the middle of it.

I own a much loved and modded VTR .

Here it is with a couple of frequent lurkers!

And here is the visitor , needs a bloody good seeing to, and then a ride to the local with a couple of other Trumpies that reside in the village .

That was caused by a fall in a trailer.

Tweed Jackets, open face helmets and gauntlets of course will be the riding gear for this beast when it is present and "Correct"

Any tips along the way will be appreciated .

Only ever had anything to do with Triumph when my brother owned a Daytona 500, 1968 model I seem to recall! Stole a few rides on it.

I can see a lengthy resto, don't want to Jonnah myself but I'm thinking 4 months and that will depend on how deep the owners pockets are.

Cheers from Down Under.

Oh my God! It's the Holy Grail! Those are really cool bikes. Old school, but cool. Why Triumph didn't run triple exhaust pipes on the TBS, I'll never know. There was a guy in the St. Louis area that had one and used to ride it to the vintage bike nights. It looked good. And it was nice to see and hear run. His wife bought him a Bonny special edition. He said he loved it, and he would probably retire the X-75 to his living room. I haven't seen it since. The only bike that gets me more worked up is a Mecatwin X-90. I've only seen pictures of the X-90.

I feel privelidged to bring this iconic bike back to acceptable condition and look forward to keeping it that way.

I just love tinkering with bikes and getting them right.

I also have a Bimota DB1 coming into the Man Cave in the next few days.

I love a challenge!

Check out my post in the Project section.

Matching numbers! 217, looks like an early one.

Take note of the engine mount nut, rusty! Still for a bike going on 40. Odd years it's not too bad.

Need the following items,

Carby Overhaul Kit,

Rear N/S Number /License Plate Bracket

New Air Filter

New Plugs

Fluid change

Check timing( Will need some help here)

Check ignition(More Help)

She It, the list just keeps growing, 4 months should do it.
