Boosting Thunderbird Load capacity

Is there a replacement rear spring or shock that will increase the load capacity of this bike?
2 up with some weight and with gear bottoms out the suspension.
I thought I saw something with a air preload in an after market shock. Any help here?
Ted

Very cool! What time of year did you go, how long did it take and did you get any punctures? I don't want to hijack this thread so maybe start a new one about your riding along the ALCAN Highway .
