I bought a t-bird seat to try on my Legend so I can move around a bit more without the step the Legend has. The only issue is that the rear brackets (tabs if you will) that the bolts go through seem to be a smidge longer on the legend than on the t-bird so the bolts don't line up right. Should I enlarge the holes, put a bracket between, what? Anybody done this?

They should fit exactly the same. I have the Legend seat on my T-Bird and the fit is identical. Don't what would make yours different.

The only thing in that case would be possibly the backrest. It is a piece the prior owner made as a one off from aluminum for the bike. T-bird seat seems to rest on it and won"t go lower for the holes to line up. Thanks for the response, I wondered if there was a difference there but apparently not!
