I know this may be an old topic, but I am looking for help. I'm 5'8.5" with a 30" inseam. My '97 T-bird with the K&Q seat does NOT allow me to sit flat footed.

I wish someone could tell me how to lower the seat height about 1" - 2". Is there a kit or something out there somewhere? I have gotten no help from my local dealer, Castle Powersports in Hendersonville, TN

All help is appreciated.

Fit the suspension droplinks from a Legend, and you're done..!

Because of the way the suspension works, longer links will lower the rear of the bike.

The standard seat is perfect for 30" inseam. Actually I flatfoot with slightly less than 30" inseam.
Maybe you want to try to replace the K & Q.

For the past 11 months I have thought that my '04 TBS was just the perfect bike for me with my 30" inseam.

Now you tell me that it's NOT?

Please explain.
