Looks nice, but kind of plain.
If you're going to the expense of painting it, I'd do something that couldn't be mistaken as OEM. That's just my taste.

The colour when finally mixed will look nothing like OEM. I may just put some fine gold pinstriping on as well. I'm pretty much set on doing it, have already tee'd up the painter. Gunna be done in Spies Hecker two pack.

I think the gold pinstiping would be the ducks guts.

What about a slightly lighter or darker panel of the same colour with the gold pinstripe separating the two shades.
