This makes me want to cry.
Your bike would be more than twice the price in the ****hole of a country that I reside in.

Import! Import! Import!

You should have no trouble selling the bike at that low a price. If you have not done so, you should post this in the Classified section.

Wouldn't it run about twice the price new as well, Spooner (with taxes and all)? I recall when I worked for a Swedish company that folks were taking American cars over and selling them used for much more what they would have brought back in the States.

A new T-bird is about $11,000 in Sweden. Darn expensive in other words.
I could probably import the above bike and sell it with a $1,000 profit....but it's such a
hassle....customs 6% of price...shipping would probably be another 1,000, registration etc another 200....plus the 25% VAT which they charge on the whole shebang....That would put the bike at about $7,800 including all costs.
Had it been inside the EU it would have been a different story.
Which Swedish company did you work for?

Keeping in mind the current weakness of the dollar, I assume? That is better than I recall it, but the US was in much fairer times then. I worked for AB Electrolux. Know anyone there?

Put it on eBay . . . I couldn't believe the response I got when I put mine up for auction. Good luck.

Nope, unfortunately not.
Yeah, the weakness of the dollar helps a lot....but Sweden is still a very expensive country...quite ridiculous prices sometimes as a matter of fact.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking on my behalf but I think that price is too low for your bike. I would assume 5K at the very least. If I sold my 2002 Tbird I would want 5500 for it. If I couldn't get it I would just keep it (btw..it is NOT for sale :-D )

Tom

PS...is your luggage rack for sale as a separate item?

Based on pictures I've seen, Bull's bike is a nice looking ride. I was very interested before finding a new one lase Spring. Best of Luck.
