HELP!! TBS Brake Pad Replacement

I'm going to replace the brake pads and do a brake bleed on my new '98 TBS. The pads on it are shot. The shop manual I ordered won't arrive for a few days, but if I don't deal with the brakes tomorrow, I won't have time for a month, so...

Are there any torquing specs I will need to know while replacing brake pads and doing a brake bleed?

Thanks so much for any feedback.

No, if you slip the pads out after removing the locating bolts etc just do them up again.

There are probably torque settings, but you don't need them. I've never used them for this job. I just do them up firm. They all have a shoulder to locate on, so you are not preloading anything.

Ditto previous.Replacing front and rear pads a piece of cake. No torque settings relevent. Did mine for the 1st time a couple of months ago and it took me longer to read - up on the job in the manual than it did to do it!

Other Motorcycle: I wish!
Finger tight plus 1/8th of a turn on the bolts will suffice.

Thanks all. As you all said, it was a piece of cake, though without the shop manual it took a bit longer than it might have otherwise.

Overall, it was a productive weekend. On Friday, I got new tires mounted (Dunlops), and this afternoon I changed the oil and filter, bled the brakes, and replaced the pads. The rear pads were completely gone. I mean gone... only metal and two adhesive residue spots remained. The front pads had only about 1/16" remaining. I also replaced a two blown bulbs in the instrument cluster.
