Kuryakyn pegs

I recently bought the Kuryakyn peg adapter set for my Thunderbird, along with a pair of pegs to mate with them.

I'm finding that the pegs rotate all day and never snug-up or get fully tight on the adapters. Does this reflect the experience of others who have Kuryakyn pegs?

Just thought I'd ask before I get some lock-tite to keep these things from rolling under my feet while riding (which they do).

Mine moved after about a year (watch out for the right one contacting the brake if they're not round pegs). Tightened them back up and used locktite, no problems since.
I have the pilot pegs that have more material toward the back, which would apply a lot more leverage to make them turn. Even with the added leverage, they only turned maybe 1/4" after a year of standing on them, putting weight on them to change seat position, etc.

Sounds like yours are moving much more freely.
If they are just the round pegs, I can't imagine why.
Is the bolt bottoming out before the pegs are tight against the adapters?
Maybe try a shorter bolt.
I'd double check the install, then call Kuryakin.
Something isn't right.
You may be missing a lockwasher, got the wrong bolt, or something.

I called Kuryakyn, and their tech support said they must be faulty. I took it apart to return them, and neither the adapters nor the pegs had stripped threads. Very wierd...

Anyway, I think I'll go back to stock : ) Thanks for the reply.

If you got the mini pilots, there is nothing you can do about getting them to stop spinning, (and falling apart), I changed mine over to the really cool larger type, almost floorboards but not quite. Haven't had problem one from them, and at a 45 buck price, not a bad deal.

Yeah, they were the Mini Pilots - glad I got rid of them before they fell apart. Pegs that are so unsure are dangerous. I do 2 track days a year or so on this bike, and having pegs fall off when I've got all my weight on one would be most uncool.

I am definitely disappointed in Kuryakyn...I wouldn't recommend them to anyone after this experience...
