New summer mods update

Well I've gotten around to posting my new mod pics. First off was a modified cafe fairing. Thanks to Stinebiz' nice bonnie mods, I had a model to go off of (thanks Stinebiz). Basically it's the emgo/bellacorse/LP fairing cut down with a dremel. Then the whole edge was finished with black vinyl car door edge trim.
Other additions/mods:
Added ultra small stalk turn signals to fairing
Raask rearsets (definitely high, but not too uncomfortable w/my setup)
Dakota digital Speedo/tach
Bellacorse locking gas cap
Chrome vinyl piping for fenders and sides of tank

Next up this Winter is making an Adventurer based subframe for rear fender removal.

Pics available below

Looks awesome. Nice work.

How do you like the dakata digital gauge? I've heard mixed things about digital tachos. How much trouble was it to hook up?

I like it a lot. Except if the sun is right behind me and it's tough to see, but the new fairing helps with that. It's really accurate as far as speed goes, and the tach functions give you a really accurate picture of carburetion/jetting/idle mix when you're fiddling. The spaghetti wiring diagram in the back of the service manual scared me a little bit when hooking it up, but I got it right on the first shot. It's the 3016 model btw, and if you're going to do it, I can send you a spreadsheet with all the wiring mapping for my bike, which might be similar/identical to yours. I know Jimmyj used the magneto pickup on his, I went the mechanical pulse generator route. I probably will wind up going the magneto route in the future, as I can hear the pulse generator spinning at low speeds behind my headlight.

They're Dennis Kirk Part# 58642 Series 83 Black Fork Boots.
CRGs off of ebay
The thunderbike pipe cleared all midrange rejetting woes.
