Legend Brakes
2000 Legend, ~35000 miles.
Heard the brakes squealing a little lately, so ordered some pads. Went out tonight to swap them out and found one of the pistons was stuck out and the pads were down to near nothing. Was able to finally push the piston back but it won't come back out when the brakes are applied. The other piston operates fine.
Looking at the manual, I'm assuming I'm going to have to take the caliper off and at the least, clean and inspect the pistons, looking for damage. The manual says use compressed air to blow out the pistons together but that stuck one seems like it's going to take an awful lot of pressure to kick it out.
So, is this a complicated job? The book says 4 wrenchs and I'm about a three wrench guy and learning, but it doesn't seem too bad. Are there rebuild kits with new seals, etc?
Thanks,
Mike
