Seat modifiers/upholsterers

I want to get some work done on a spare Legend seat pan I have. Any recommendations from the group? Looking at Sargeant but I'm betting somebody has a local shop who does nice work etc... My only local is "alligator bob" and I don't want a chopper seat made of Python, although he is quite the craftsman. I'm looking to make it less uncomfortable (maybe re-foamed) as well as re-shape (more flat like a T-bird) it some so I'm not constantly getting rolled down and forward. All suggestions appreciated.

I had my Legend seat recovered and reworked by Sargent's. After reading all the endorsements I was afraid to open the box because I knew it couldn't be as good as they said it would be. I was wrong. Sargent's was very accomodating and pleasant to work with. The more sketches and notes you can include the closer to what you want will be possible. They did a masterful job and the seat is my bikes major highlight. Hope this helps.

In my experience Sargent is quite a bit cheaper then any of the local shops as well... and great customer service.

Those are both rousing endorsements!
I went to look at your albums and don't find them, ah progress.
Can you post up what the new seats look like?
Thanks

I have a digital camera and a willingness to help but I am technologically challenged and don't know how to post. I will ask one of my children and maybe I can not only get this posted but learn something in the process.

You can see pics of mine re-done seat in my old member album.

Keep in mind that they didn't re-shape mine, I did - I cut it down, re-did the foam, etc. I wasn't sure how it would turn out when I sent it in... I'm no foam-shaping expert, that's for sure |) I was extremely pleased when I got it back - they made it look like a real seat.

Also check out 2trumpets - he had Sargent re-shape and re-cover his seat in a more 'cafe' style.

I too had Sargent redo my Adventurer seat. I chopped the foam to a rough shape the way I wanted and had them work from that. They'll also take a cardboard template of what you want.
Here's what my seat looks like now:

If you do not mind me asking, what kind of rear shock do you have in that bike? It does not look stock. It looks longer.

It's the standard Adventurer Hagon replacement from Dave Quinn.
