First post in the new forum...and maybe the last?
Yep, it's a brave new world here on the Triumphrat forums but I'm afraid I have some sad news: I've put the Tbird up for sale.
It's been a great bike and I've loved having it. I really wish companies still made bikes like this one. But it's a little too "high maintenance" for me, and I want to get something that will allow me to explore the dirt roads and fire trails of CO. Can't afford two bikes, so this one's got to go. I'll post the ad in the for sale section, but I did want to tip off folks here in case anyone in the Denver area is looking to pick up a later model (6-speed) Tbird. Miles are a tad high at 27,000 but I've pretty much babied it and have all the records.
Anyway, I've loved all the time I've had on this forum in the past 2 1/2 years and gotten some great advice and tips! I know I'll miss the Tbird (although I won't miss the $400+ valve adjustments and the fact that it's nearly impossible to find accessories or parts.) I may come back to a big bike later on, but most likely it will be one of the Japanese Big 4. As much fun as Triumphs are, without the Tbird in their lineup, they really don't make the kind of bike I like to ride anymore, sad to say.
