Just bought a TBS..

Hope it won't be a monster problem, decent price though.

That is a good price, and most of that stuff should beasy to fix. Just make sure you get the rims checked out. If you need a new speedo I've got one in the garage. send me an email, your local I may even offer deliver it to you

Apparently your email is disabled.

Let me know about the speedo please.

Brought it home tonight.
Scary doing a 70 mile dash in Detroit traffic on an unknown bike, but it made it.
Got a strange sound when in gear, almost like the kicker arm is down and ratcheting.. althoug I know it doesn't have a kicker. Doesn't seem to affect the running.

Dent in tank, turn signals smashed, rear fender off to one side, few scrapes but runs OK.

Noticable play in the Steering head bearings, they easy to replace?

you definately got big marbles riding that thing home. this is a great forum for information. the search function is going to be your best friend. posting questions too soon may not give you enough info. by searching first and then posting if you've still got questions will yield better results. there hasn't been too much activity on this board for a while so i don't know how many guys are viewing lately. they must be out riding. i wish i was. anyway, welcome and good luck. it's a great bike and i'm glad there's another like it in the state, at least one that's on this forum in this state.

Yeah, it was a little unnerving blasting through I-94/I-75 on something that could blow itself to smithereens at any second for all I knew.

But then again, I'm sort of used to that, I usually build my own bikes and I'm always paranoid about something dropping off. I usually get where I'm going
