To fit or not to fit?

Anyone tell me if, with the triple engine, they are worth the extra dough.

I've run them in the past. I didn't notice any real improvement in power or throttle response. I've read they don't foul as quickly if you've messed with the carbs and are running a bit rich.

Well, they're only good for 100,000 miles or so and take away the fun of changing sparkplugs.... :-D

I have not noticed any significant differences but the bike seems to idle and run smoother with the Iridium's and the long plug life will certainly be a plus.

I can recommend switching any plug from a #8 to a #9 (cooler plug) if you live in a hot climate like I do. I definitely think this helped performance.
