I have a stock '96 Adventurer and I love the bike, even though it needs a few items. I was thinking about replacing the bars with a lower set that complements the peg placement. Are there any issues that I should be aware of, like excess cable length?
Thanks,
Greg

excess cable can be a problem but you can often re-route it to use the excess up. Excess brake and clutch line length can be more problematic and often results in needing a new set of lines.

Buddy of mine swapped the 96 Adventurer bars with that of a TBS, no mods were needed for the cables.

Good luck, feel free to drop some before and after pictures.
