Gentlemen, I don't mind at all how the fora are set up. The Classic section seems a bit slower than the others, but that is fine. You start combining and it gets like a lot of the other boards I frequent. Can't keep up with the posts because they are literally scrolling up the interface. As a professional computer geek and bike enthusiast, T-rat achieves a pretty good balance for all users, the slow and the really nerdy as compared to a lot of boards.

I'm with Mick on this one - I prefer the forum to be specific to the Classics. I don't mind it being 'slow' if the posts are relevant.

I quite like the BHO and Workshop areas too, and IMHO they are good enough to cover more general topics.

Some other boards I use have an option to show 'all new posts since last visit'. Initially I thought this was a great feature, but as JhuFrank says, there's just way too much to keep up with if you access all the discussions.

I like this forum for a number of reasons. I've made friends and we take our contact off campus when we shoot the breeze. I do however like it to be on point, t3's more specifically. I like all bikes, but I'm here for wisdom and knowledge aquired from owning and loving the tripples. I don't care personally if someone doesn't own one any more, they are more than welcome to join in and share, but I do like the discussion to be t3. So I think I'm agreeing with you Mick, for all that's worth.

Regards Eric

Maybe you're right Mick.
It just felt weird being waved off considering how much time I've spent posting in this section. I'm over it now though :-D

Keeping a board like this on topic and to the point is the way to go in the long run.

Keep up the good work!

I believe it should be kept as it is, when you want to go to a specific point you can go directly to that forum without having to sort out all the chaff.

I mostly lurk on Classics and personally prefer to find all the info I want there on my TB without sorting thru one big haystack.
