Last year when I was contemplating selling/trading my T-bird in order to acquire my Sprint, the dealer told me it wouldn't fetch much more than $3,500. I kept the 'bird and bought the Sprint outright.
Yesterday he told me he sold a similar T-bird for $4,800. A year's time made quite a difference! When I asked why, he replied "Supply and demand. Those bikes are hot on the market. If you want to sell yours, now is the time."
"Nawww, I'm keeping it. She's mine."
