Hi - I've just bought a shiny speed triple and I want to turn my good old thunderbird into a kinda cafe racer. Chromed tank, shorter fender hump seat sort of thing. I've just spotted a New Zealand company selling a "3 into 1 classic chrome performance system" and wonder if any of you good people know anything about it?

You might also consider another company- Staintune. they are based in Australia and make a bitchin' set of pipes for a Tbird. My set of Staintunes are 100% stainless, sound better and are less than HALF the weight of the stock pipes. They really sound good at full power. :-D

Do a search around here and you will find a number of entries on the Thunderbike pipes. They make two basic versions. One version is real tight to the bike, lighter, but requires removal to change the oil filter.

Thanks SCB, just seen their website - they look wicked with that "reversed cone" style. Did you have to do any modification to the pillion footpeg hangers, or did they just bolt straight on?

Hey Mojoinco - just been around the Cafe racer section on the forum - God, some of them are just mindblowing - hope my project lives up to some of those beauties!

Other Motorcycle: Can't afford two!
Extra Motorcycle: Three would be insane
You could consider a stock early TBS system too:

Unless you are rich you would likely need to get the parts from a breaker such as triumph-ant or sprint manufacturing (the latter is where I got my headers)
