At times I'm having trouble going straight from 1st to 2nd gear, quite offen I end up in neutral. Is this common on T-birds or is there something I can do to fix it?
I have a hunch that the chain is do for a swap, could that be it?
A worn out chain, or even one which is out of adjustment, can mess up the shifting. How many miles do you have on it? Shifting seems to get better as the miles build up.
