Changed the oil on the Bird yesterday, and noticed when replacing the filter there was no top washer on the center bolt. I looked inside to see if it had stuck to the bottom, not there. Then I stuck my hand in the drain pan to see if I had dropped it in there still no washer. Should I be concerned?
On oil filters Wix makes one to fit the 885's $7 at O'Rileys #24941. :???:

I pay 12 bucks Aus for K&N. or 12.50 for a honda one. there all much the same. Triumph wants 18 bucks for em.
Mine has been missing that top washer for about 80,000 klms. The bike still rattles along happily. :-D

Both my bikes were missing that washer when I got them. I just got replacements from the dealer. They were not exorbitantly expensive.
