I guess "Silencers" would be a misnomer, but anyone have sound recordings of their bike?

Had a bit of spare time today, so took my little digital camera out to the shed & used it to record the sound of my '99 T'bird with Triumph off mufflers. Not the best quality, but hey it's better than nothing ;-)
You can find it on page 3 of my photo album here. (Members maintained/page 2/cuppa/page 3) fwiw.
It's an mpg file & should play on quicktime.

regards
Ian

Beemie,

I've just added a sound clip to my photo album (taken on a really cheap digital camera) of my TBird with drilled-out stock mufflers.

It's in AVI format so hope this works ok for you.

TBird sound

OK guys, I must be missing something obvious, but how do you get the neat links at the end of your messages (eg. 'My Photo album, 'T'bird sound').
Regards
Ian

When you post a message there is a black oval box on the bottom left that says URL. Click that box, then enter the address you want the link to go to, then it will ask you for the title. Title it whatever you want and then it will enter the HTML code into your message.

Great. Now I've got to go drill out my silencers. Did you rejet? Or did you just adjust the mixture screws?

I added the OFFICIAL off-raod pipes anfd a K&N filter element. I shimmed up my needles in the carbs using #4 alloy washers under the needle. This works really good and you can do it without removing the carbs from the bike.

I will do a proper jet job this winter.
