I am curious about drilling my stock peashooters. I was wondering if anyone in the Dallas,TX area has drilled out their pipes? I would like to hear them to see if this is what I want.

I can't provide you with sound clips but I have heard drilled out pipes and offroad pipes at the same time. My friend has them drilled out and they sound better than stock, much better. But they do not quite match the sound provided by the offroads (I have them on my bike). If money isn't a problem I think it is a no question about it go for the offroads. If you want to save a buck or two then DIY your pipes, you won't be sorry. Of course I think the Toga pipes by Norman Hyde provide the sweetest sound for the Tbird but your mileage may varry.

Of course this is all my two cents worth of opinion .

I have an 02 Tbird with D & D pipes. They are loud but they sound great. I am in Arlington, Texas. If you want to hear them, I usually ride on Sunday mornings and we could meet somewhere.

hm...you might want to listen to drilled megaphones as well (Legend) The peashooters tend to "chirp" a bit when drilled, while the megas have a deeper, more rumble like sound after drilling. (I know, by comparing my Legend to my buddie's T'bird)
