Hello! I would like to get your help to know how to raise the rear part of my Legend. Is it the easiest way to change the "dog bones", I mean the rods that go from the lower part of the shocker to the swing arm for a shorter ones?
Are Thunderbird´s what I need? Is there any subsequent problem if I try this? Thank you very much.

If you raise the back that much its going to really quicken up the handling because the front stays the same. It may or may not be too much.

Ok. There have been two different Thunderbirds with different swing arms (previous 96 and 96 on).Do they have the same rear suspension linkage? In the Bike Bandit pictures the Legend, Thunderbird and TBS seem to mount similar dog bones but I don´t think it is so, but not sure.
Many thanks for your advice.

use the ones from the later tbird.

Handling will be quickened, but most legends need that anyhow

Is incredible, I am at same point than you, coppi0_3. I'm several weeks trying to find out the most reliable and easy solution.

Now the question, Mick, is how much we will get. Don't we get more height with TB S dog bones?

Thanks!

the TBS uses the same dogbones as the Tbird so using those instead would not give any difference. the extra height of the tBS comes from the different (longer) shock and different rear subframe.
