Is anyone running a Brake Modulator or LED blinkers as running lights on a T-Bird?

My used Legend came with HyperLights installed in the rear brake light housing. They are positioned inside the housing on the far left and right facing outwards. The LED flashers are in groups of 3x2 ( if I recall correctly ) and flash quickly when the brake is applied.

They are very noticeable. I am not sure if they are white LEDS and appear red due to the lens of the brake light, or they are red LEDS shining through a red lens.

I once saw a BMW LED brake light that strobed several times before going solid. This was during a sunny mid-day. The strobe was excellent (like the cop LED flasher bars ), I've always lusted after a similar setup.

Is the "Priority Plus" or the "Back-Off" modulators the way to go?
I'm looking for simplicity in the connection. If you remember my post about the "old temperature light" I'm an electrical moron!
I do like the LEDs on my car and think that they could increase the visibility if combined with the right modulator. and clear lenses.
Any experience here?

I put the "Priority Plus" system on my 'bird 3 years ago just for a little more visibility. This keeps the turn signals and brake light on at all times but at half brightness. When you hit the brakes the turn signals and brake light flash together for 2-3 seconds before coming on solid full brightness. The signals still work the same as usual. If you are at a light with your brake on and a signal, the turn signal blinks and the other signal and brake are on full brightness. It comes with a wiring diagram, but not being a good electrician, I just twisted the wires together until I knew I had it right. Then used the connectors. Works great and you do get noticed.
