I'm 6'4" tall and am finding the standard bars to have too much 'pull back'
I figure I need something that leans me about 2" (50mm) further forward but not neccassarily any lower.

I've searched the forum for suggestions and there's heaps of them. But what I can't find is the H-W-PB etc of the standard pre 2001 TBird bars so that I know what I'm looking for.

I'm 5'11" but also find the bars on my TBird (bought a month ago) too high and close. Yesterday I nipped down to my local bike shop and bought a set of flatter bars for £19. Daresay "genuine Triumph" bars, as specced for the early TBird, would be at least twice the price. Aim to fit the flatter bars tomorrow.

If you like crusader I can measure up my Triumph lower bars and then you could go to one of those many bike shops in Melbourne and match them up.

Bars are 700mm wide, 100mm of rise, about 100mm of pullback. I'm only a shortarse and I found the standard bars to be horrible. Like bloody apehangers they felt.

I don't know what the measurements are but if you check out my album I've got some before/after shots for comparison.

Before:

After (with risers and old windshield):

My bars are Bikemaster "euro" bars. Risers are 30mm.

I priced the OEM Triumph Lowers at my local Triumph dealer today - $A121 with brake line. That seemed reasonable to me, but there's none in the country and would take 6 weeks to arrive.
Any ideas where else I can get them online?

Ma's Cycles in the US of A. shipping will be quicker than getting them from England.
The quickest I have ever recieved something from the states was four days. For a cheap screen. The Quickest I have recieved stuff from England ( a set of fork protectors) yes wait for it four weeks. The longest I waited for stuff from the states was three weeks.
