Hi there,
I have been searching the web for an hour and a half. I am having a lot of trouble finding the stock tire size for my 96 Adventurer. I have an extra OEM Avon AV27 Radial for the front so that dictates a radial for the rear.

All the rear tires I am finding are Bias.

Any suggestions folks?

Thank you

Theres a few that fit, 150/80 is also OK. I run a conti tour, or a Michelin HiTour. You can also get Michelin macadm 100x in 150/80 16. My preferred of the lot is the Hitour. Great mileage (18,000klms last time) and I didnt have any moments in the wet. I use a nice sticky front usually, a BT012ss is my favourite for the front, at the moment i have a BT 020, which is a little hard.

Hi,

From 1996 Triumph started using the 150/80x16, as well as the 160/80x16, on the Adventurer and Thunderbird because of supply.

The Avon Azaro-ST (AV46) 150/80x16 would be okay with the AV27 - in fact I did write to, and had this confirmed, by Avon about 3 years ago. [Obviously both need to be radial).

Ciao,
Geoff

Bike arrived ex. California wearing Metzler 880 front and rear 100/90-19 and 150/80-16. For our harsh chip seal roads they are great although wearing quick due to the fact that making the most of our Summer, 8000 miles since September! Will replace with same.

Regards

Murray.
