Here is a link where you can buy a geared right angle screwdriver so you can reach that screw on the center carb. It is about $23 plus shipping. This ought to do the trick right?

I haven't tried it yet, and was about to order one. When you refer to 'too thick', are you talking about the gear head? It is hard to tell its thickness.

I bought a 1/4" drive ratchet set and it is about the most handy tool I've got for getting in those tight spots. Just put a small screwdriver attachment or allen head and it makes short work of those frustrating bolts.

Hey I'm only going on looks [like the women in my life lol] but if you measure up the room you have to work with on that middle carb, it comes out at [from memory] around 40mm with a screwdriver bit. This is not a lot of space. Try to get the head dimensions off the spec sheet for it.
If its good to go........we''l all be lining up for one, but looking at the pic, I have my doubts. The only gear head one I've seen that works is the $200US one that some big brand that I can't remember Sykes Pickavant maybe sells. It works and has good feel, but it we all shy at the price.

I found the manuf's website here but no dimensions -
http://www.lsdinc.com/content/product_details/13

If the ave bit is 20mm - then that fat head is going to make it awful close. But the price is so good - it's almost worth buying just to try it.

Something else - it's listed as "right-angled" but it's not is it? It's actually 60 degrees. Will that be an issue or not, on the centre carb?

Yep - that is perfect but £36 is a lot of dollars at the current exchange rate. Non-EU orders will be VAT exempt so £46 less 17.5% VAT plus say £15 to ship.

That's $100.

I was ordering some NiMH batteries and found this -
http://www.mcminone.com/product.asp?...5Fid=22%2D8272

I've ordered it as it looks value for money and stands a reasonable chance of fitting the bill.

Chris,

That one looks like it should work. I hope you let us know. They will wonder why so many orders all at once if it does work.
