The stock tire sizes for my bike (98 thunderbird) are Front tire: 110/80ZR-18, Rear tire: 160/80ZR-16. As was stated in other posts there are limited tire options for this these sizes. What would happen if I used a 150 or a 180 on the rear? Would these tire fit the wheel?

When I changed out my tires on my 95 bird, I went to the AVon's AZ45 150's. Not sure if you could go up to the 180's.

The 150 are the OEM replacements that the are putting on now.

150s on my last swap. the only difference for me was it tracked the grooves a lot more. getting a 160 mich this weekend. will let you know what i think
