Well guys, I hate to say this but I just put money down on a 2005 Harley Davidson FLHTPI w/ 12,000 mls. It's loaded out w/ full fairing and all of the chrome you could ask for. It's a cadillac cruiser! My TBS is going back to it's original owner. If he decides he doesn't want it back, I'll post it here for sale.I would like to say " Thank you for a great site and all of the replies and help"I feel like it's time to ride a couch for a while and do some touring.Once again, this is a truely great site!

Captain, my captain.

If you don't need the money, just put the tbs in the back of your garage. I only got £2000 for mine when I traded it for a Tiger, the better to tour with so I thought. If only I'd just spent 500 quid on a good rear shock instead. I didn't get on with the Tiger, traded it for a Scrambler which I've now had for a year, but I really miss my old tbs. For the money I lost on the two trade-ins I could still have it :???:

johny. dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Yeah, if you don't need the money and have the garage space, keep it for the Sunday rides.

Have fun scrapin' metal on your new Road King, Capt. Scott. I can understand the appeal of that big v-twin, though it isn't my cuppa tea. To each his own!

You ARE going to miss it. And in twenty years, it will be a WHOLE lot more rare than any modern harley. Sir.

Ugh, I sure would be trying to find the room. I think that an 03/04 TBS with a later model FLHTPI would just about be the perfect combination of bikes. Great cruiser for interstate driving along with the TBS for hot fun in the twisties.
