Hi, I'm new to this forum, so can someone tell me what TOR means as I have seen it on several of discussion topics.

Hi, and welcome!

good question....I think it stands for Triumph Off Road (pipes) - the replacement silencers Triumph manufactures for their bikes. They're louder than stock, but not straight-through loud....

But I could be wrong: TOR could mean something else.

Guys?

Sounds close enough to me....

While we are at it, what is NOS (as seen on Ebay for automotive/motorcycle parts)?

That would be New Old Stock, as in original stock that's in unissued condition, I believe.

Not yet. I haven't started the real advertising push yet. First ad outside the boards hits one of the local "advertise till you sell it" circulars this week.

Just had a couple of guys by to look at siding the house. I wasn't planning to give them the bike tour, but had to get into the garage for something after all. They were really blown away by all the bikes. As usual, any time there is someone about 10 years my senior involved, the older fellow said "Man! I had a (insert bike here) Bonneville 650 years ago!". And then, they always ask if the shifter is still on the right.
