Greetings from the homeland of Nokia mobiles!

I'm newbie in this forum, and since it's quite time consuming to check all the quotes, can someone tell me, which tankbags fit TB / TBS? Magnetic / straps?
Thanks!

TB-Finland,

Welcome to our little part of the net.

Both magnetic and strap will work. I use a magnetic tour master so when I get somewhere in town I just grab it and go.

I have this magnetic Icon Urban tank bag. It converts to a back pack and holds a helmet for walking around.

I have Triumph's tank bag on mine when I use it. Here is my bike geared up for light touring.

Welcome to you in Finland.

Like Jaben I have the Icon one.

It has a safety strap that goes around the handlebar clamp.

Do these bags block your view of the instruments? Just curious.

No, not at all.

Most bags have a clear pocket at the top for your map - very handy for traveling.

Mine doesn't either. As you can see from my side shot above the top of the tank is at about the same height as the top of the fly screen. When I expand the tank bag it goes up a bit higher but I can't recall right now if it blocks the instruments.

I have a Chase Harper. Mine has a removable map pocket (most are). Magnetic. With a magnetic I would strongly urge that you use the leash strap that mounts over/around your risers/handlebar. Mine is a 'multi-mount', meaning you can go with straps and/or magnetic. I find that it takes the air off of the lower chest (usually a plus).

My only other suggestion is that you insure that when full (bring along a couple of sweaters and small towels) to verify that the bag can't get too wide and cause the starter/horn buttons to get pushed when you turn your handle bars full lock. The only time anyone will ever hear your stock horn and look.

I found this write-up on electricified tank bags to be thought-provoking, though I haven't yet tried this myself.
