On a biz trip to the Carolinas I checked out my bike! Very nice. I'm ridding it back to TX on the 27th, 28th, and 29th. I will journal the trip, so if anyone wants to ride along for a bit once I start and it will be on 20 all the way and I would enjoy the company!

Anyway I love the bike but noticed that I couldnt see any illumination in the guages. I read somewhere that there are LED replacement bulbs for the guages and that would fix the problem.
Are all T-bird guages dim?
Is there a fix for it?
Ted

I'm picking the bike up at the end of the month and would like to correct the problem
Could you tell me where to get the LED's and what model bulb? then how to do the change? I'm pretty handy building Bicycles so I'm sure I can do it but just don't want to screw up.
THANKS
Ted :???:

Anyone know what bulbs go in the Speedo and Tach?
I've got to take em to NC and fix them at the old owners before I drive it back.

Speedo/Tach lights are 2-watt bulbs (insert type)
Triumph part numbers are T2500098 or T2502089 depending on the VIN number of the bike. What difference does it make? I don't know. You may be able to find them at
your local auto parts store. Hope that helps you out.

Jim,
You wouldn't happen to know the LED part numbers that you got would you?

Did you replace all the lights?

How tough is it?

WLED-6 (194 wedge base) is what I have. I replaced all the
bulbs. No problems plug and play. I did this on my America but have same bulbs for my triple which appear to be same.
Click below and look about midway down the page.
