I just love the look of the Thunderbird Sport. I am a new rider and I want to ride a Triumph. They no longer make it. I keep my eyes open for just the right pre-owned TBS, but I can not imagine anyone who has the right one letting it go. So, what is the model Triumph replaced it with? Nothing seems close. :???:

I think you answered your own question. Nothing. You can still find used TBS's around, both here and on e-bay. I would say that the Thruxton is about as close as you can get, but there is just something about the triple.... sigh.

Zip, Zilch, Nada - in the Triumph category. Next closest thing is either a Thruxton, or a Ducati Sport Classic.

This issue is already being discussed in this current thread. So locking this one down to stop the fragmentation.

Though why we need to keep discussing this again and again is beyond me
