Hi!

I finally figured out the image thing.
I haven't ridden in 10 years and just got a 95 Thunderbird.
Rode Harleys before and am new to the Triumph scene.
I like it!!! I love these bikes and this site.

So here is my bike so far. I have changes the bars out from the
drag bars the prev owner had on it. Added the 1/4 fairing, leather panniers,
kneepads, grab bar (that I found on this forum), and bar end mirrors.

Hi t-birder,

Welcome to the fun.

Your Thunderbird looks very nice, and being black is fairly unusual/unique. (Our fellow member Slinky thinks it is the only colour to have!).
You have some good extras fitted too.

I am sure you will enjoy the extra power and torque that a triple offers.

Tip: One thing perhaps to check on your '95 is the front brakeline. The original brakeline was rubber hosing. If your front brake feels "spongy", it may not have been changed to the braided/SS brakeline as fitted to the later model years. This is the only thing, pretty much, to check. Great bike!
(Fyi. Looking at your photo, to me, it looks like you still have the original rubber brakeline - sorry. The original front brake hose was part# T2020106 - rubber. From VIN 41240 a Braided hose was fitted [part# T2020642]. Hope this helps?).

Ciao,
Geoff
(fellow '95 T-Bird owner - maroon).

Thanks Goeff. The front brake does feel spongy. And the hose also seems too long. this will be my next project and I thank you for the advice!

And thanks Tom. I do seem to like it more and more each time I ride.
