is the bulb available from like a radio shack? How is it described? The one that was in there was broken- and the rest shattered on removal- so I have no example to replace.
2004 TBS
Thanks

I would try your local autoparts store...ask for type 1157
Should be 2 bulbs in there?

just one as far as I saw. The rubber holder pulls out the back and the bulb is sorta like the old tyme flash bulbs- just glass on the end and wires protruding.. sound like type 1157?
By the way- thanks!
Rick

Sounds like Bob described the tail light.
Be careful to get the right wattage the unit is all plastic. If you check your handbook it may tell you the buld or at least its wattage. The latter armed with what's left of the bulb woudl give you enough info to go to the parts store.

1157 is the stop/tail bulb.
You need a type 501 "wedge" bulb, rated at 12 volt 5 watts

Rick,
you need the one Slinky described. Bob (Wombat) is talking about the big chrome, red lensed lamp that acts as the tail / brake light and not the little black license plate light.
