Does anyone know if the stock seats on the T-Birds and T-Bird sport are interchangeable? May be they are even identical? I want to buy a pre-made cover for a T-Bird for my T-Bird Sport seat if it will fit. thanks for any help.

The early TBirds and the TBS use the same pan, but the foam is a different profile on top- the TBS has a hump on the pillion part.

Do you mean that a newer T-bird would be abe to use a seat comptible with an older Standard T-bird. The reason I am asking, is that I am looking to get a new seat, and have always liked the Corbins. They dont make any seats for an 04 TBS though. Their only answer is to come to california with the bike and I am looking for alternatives.

You could use a pre-99 T-bird seat on a TBS, it just needs a little work.

I have recently fitted a TBS seat to my standard Tbird. You would need to swap the locking tang and the steel hooks from your seat to the new (Tbird) one.
